Question:
Can we predict how tall a child is going to be? Is it accurate?

Because my mother is 5'7 (170 cm) my father is 175 cm and I'm a 170 cm girl, like my mom. The scientific calculation says that I should have been 167.5 cm.
Enrique Iglesias is apparently towering to 190 cm and his parents Julio and Isabel are respectively 185 and 170, his scientific predicted height should have been only 182.5 cm...
A reverse case is Lisa Marie Presley who is as short as her mother (163cm) despite having a tall father (Elvis was 184 cm) My point is...is predicted height always accurate or does other genes are involved?

Yes, to a extent. They take the length of your bone when you are born and can estimate how much it will expand, however it's off by 4-6 inches many times

It's about twice the height of the child at the age of 2, plus or minus a few inches.

No. no. Great great grandparents genes. And the food they ate.

Peace.
