1. Does all light leaving an object come to your eyes?Explain.
2. Describe what happens to the path of light as it moves from water to the air?

please help me answer these questions. i have asked all of my friends and none of them know the answer. If you can answer this you will be a big help to many.THANK YOU SO MUCH =]

The eye detects wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation within the visible spectrum (fancy talk for visible light) and stimulates the retina in the eye accordingly

1.] Yes, the light reflects from an object and if it falls on our eyes, then we're able to see the object.

2.] The second question has to deal with 'refraction of waves'



In simple terms, refraction can be explained as 'bending' of light(or a wave) when it changes its medium.

When light travels from water to air i.e from denser medium to rarer medium, it bends 'away' from the normal.
