No.. Actually water will float because its less dense than oil.. Oil will sink. Salt would dissolve in water and change the density of water up 1027kg/m^3. Pure water density would be 1000kg/m^3. Candle wax is an amorphous solid, so its less dense when heated, but cool its quite dense.
