why does my nose look crooked in pictures but normal in the mirror?

when i look in the mirror my face looks pretty and normal, but when pictures are taken of me, its only my nose that looks like its changed? it looks crooked and out of place in pictures..

The difference is only in our expectations. People tend to ignore such minor cosmetic variations. But we have come to expect a photograph to look "perfect". If your real face isn't "perfect" (whatever that is), then a few hours in PhotoShop can fix that.

Because your nose is slightly crooked and you're used to seeing it like that in a mirror so your brain has accepted that as correct. When you look at a picture it is crooked in the opposite direction as than in the mirror and your brain interprets that to be twice as crooked as it actually is.
