u have to use these four numbers...9...8....8.....7... to make the number 24 using times divide multiply and subtract..u cant use them tiwce and u have to use all numbers..can u try to find the solution plz..if anyone knows?:Lx

First try a few combinations and see if any come up to a couple of numbers that have a difference of 24.



8x8 = 64

9x7 = 63 nope



7x8 = 56

9x8 = 72 nope



Hmm... 24 is 8x8x8, and 9-7 = 2. We have 8 and 8, we need another 8. So multiply one 8 and add it to the other 8, we get 24.



8x2 + 8 = 24 substitute 9-7

8x(9-7) + 8 = 24
