this is really annoying because everytime i put a cool water bottle in my bag all my paper gets wet?

Even when the water bottle was completely dry in the beginning... if i put cold water in its completely covered by water mist a few minutes later

WHY??

and is there a way to stop this from happening?

The "mist" you see on the outside of a cool water bottle is actually condensation. The air around us holds water vapor which is measured by the "humidity". Cool air can't hold as much water vapor as warmer air. When you water bottle is in contact with the surrounding air it cools the air and the water vapor condenses.

The easiest way to prevent this is to put your bottle in a sock. That will insulate the bottle from the air. If a small amount of condensation does form it will be absorbed by the sock. You could also wrap the bottle with a cloth or a paper towel then secure it with a rubber band. Anything like this will protect your papers.

Is this a serious question?

And did you really use the word "mist" for what is so clearly condensation?
