many plants tend to be healtheir and grow faster and produce more using hydroponic means.



However not all plants can be adapted to such means.

Most plants grow better in soil, a few will do OK in water. When using water make sure you can see the container's roots. Roots tend to rot easily and the smell is awful

If its an ordinary plant, then soil. It has the minerals plants need that water aint got.
