An obtuse angle is an angle at or above 90 degrees. If you have two obtuse angles, that's at least 180 degrees, and then you need a third angleābut a triangle cannot have more than 180 degrees.

Obtuse meaning more than 90 degrees and all the angles in a triangle must add up 180. Take away any amount over 90 from 180 and there is not enough left to make another angle more than 90 degrees. So, a triangle cannot have more than one obtuse angle because of math :p

Because the angles of a triangle (in euclidean geometry) cannot total more than 180 degrees.
However, there are geometries where the angles of a triangle always total more than 180 degrees, and these can have two obtuse angles, and even three right angles....

all triangles have 3 angles totalling 180 degrees If you had two 91 degree (obtuse) angles therefore the total degrees would be greater than 180 !!
