Most dc motors have 4 wires. 2 are for the armature and 2 for the field. The only ones with 2 are either permanent magnet motors, or ones where the connections have been made internally and only 2 wires brought out.



My guess would be that you would shunt wire this but obviously do your best to confirm this before making tests.
