by experiment on earth wehre g == ( aqual about) 32 ft/sec^2 == 9.8 meter/sec^2

one kilogram weighs about 2.2 pounds

1 Newton force = 1 Kilogram accelerated at 1 meter/sec^2

change the units

pound to kgm, kgm to weight in Newtons

Notice a pound ( english ) is WEIGHT not Mass

a Kilogram Metric is Mass not weight

this confuses most people

First covert pounds into kilograms and then multiply by the acceleration due to gravity in metres per second squared. I'm not going to do it for you, although apparently others here are dumb enough to do so.

90 pounds = 44.45kg to two decimals

44.45kg(9.8) = 435.61N
