I need to contact your rose to see if it is actual; odor it to look if it smells as just right as mine; taste it to see if it could make just right wine and hear the bees buzzing round your lovely rose. If i can best have one of these matters then it will be to smell the rose. Cheers x lol

I can taste sounds (mostly music) and touch, and I see numbers and letters in colours. It's stronger when I'm tired. It's been there all my life - well, except the letters in colour, that just kind of popped up at age 15, and they used to just be in my head but now I see them on paper sometimes too, especially when tired. And also I used to have colours for days of the week when I was little, but now it's only two of them (and months). Probably the strongest is grapheme --> colour and touch --> taste (-really strong; sometimes I can even taste myself blink).

I only have a touch of it, I see time (years) as a sort of curved ribbon. Some relatives have it more strongly - they see the year as a spinning cycle, and one of them has specific colors associated with letters and numbers. For all of us, this has been a life-long 24/7 thing, and doesn't seem to be triggered by anything.

I've had synesthesia for as long as I can remember. I have sound/colour, sound shape, grapheme colour (numbers/words), ordinal linguistic personification (numbers), and spacial sequence synesthesia. Whenever I hear sounds, I see a coloured shape. For example: When three of my friends were talking, I saw a teal circle, a magenta ring, and a dark purple haze. All the different scales, instruments and songs have colours. I can tell the quality of the music by the colour. If a group was trying to play an intense song, orangey red means that they are not very good, red means that they are average, and blue means they are exceptional. Numbers and words also have colours. The word curvature is bluish green while oaf is cream white. Here are how numbers look:

1-shy and light blue

2-nice and orange

3-red and obnoxious

4-cobalt and like a business like man who thinks he is to important for his own good. He is tiny; a chihuahua who fancies himself a pitbull

5-dark purple and just like four except tall

6-pink and content

7-grey and mean (picks on one)

8-teal and elusive

9-green, oversized and awkward

0-yellow and bossy

The months of the year are spaced out in a circle around me. January is to my left near my feet, April is about shoulder height, the summer months are above my head, the fall is to my right ending with december near my feet.
